Black and White Tree

Black and White Tree

A Playful Photo Opportunity

Three photo opportunities featuring photographs taken on site, then printed life-sized and reinstalled at the original location, with holes cut out for viewers to peek through and seem to be floating.

This provides a moment just a bit out of reality; a fun, silly, pared-down, humble magic.

I can say with full confidence that people loved these pieces. After I installed the first one and moved over 25 feet to begin installing the second, I looked back and people were already using the first piece! The same went for takedown; viewers were enjoying them until the last second they were up. It was the most gratifying project I’ve ever done.
