This triptych shows a living room restaged in three distinct environments: natural, domestic, and urban. Carefully built to seem correct from the vantage point of the camera, the false floor and baseboard are sized to precisely fill the frame. Prize detail: the outlet, which together with the baseboard suggests the plane of a nonexistent back wall.
