Spring!

Spring!

201940" x 37"Archival pigment print

Compositionally influenced by the Old Dutch Masters, Spring! is a formally elegant, comical celebration of that boisterously perky season. While I am accustomed to staging floral still-life images, this one was particularly challenging due to the slippery nature of fried eggs. Luckily, 1) they only needed to stay in place for about 1/125th of a second, and 2) eggs are sold by the dozen (I went through a lot of eggs).
