The Idea and the Thing Itself: Papercraft Activity

I created this papercraft activity as a way for children to think further about the ideas behind the installation Waiting Room (Translated). Adults, however, have also thoroughly enjoyed making it, so please do not hold back! These simple exercises explore symmetry, matching, and representation, and require nothing more than a printer, a few household objects, a paperclip (or tape), and some thought.
